Ingredients:

  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce

Instructions:

  1. Measure out the low-sodium soy sauce in a small bowl.
  2. Heat oil in a wok or cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef slices in a single layer and sear for 60-90 seconds per side; remove beef immediately and set aside.
  3. Add broccoli florets to the same pan with a splash of water. Cover and steam for 2 minutes. Remove lid, add minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for 30 seconds.
  4. Return the seared beef and its juices to the pan. Pour in the soy sauce and stir constantly for 1-2 minutes until the beef and broccoli are well coated.
