Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tbsp (57g) Unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp (15ml) Olive oil
- 4 cloves (12g) Garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp (15ml) Fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp (1.5g) Red pepper flakes
- 2 tbsp (8g) Fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 tsp (3g) Salt
- 1/4 tsp (1g) Black pepper
Instructions:
- Pat the shrimp completely dry with paper towels to ensure a proper sear. Season lightly with salt and black pepper in a small bowl.
- Heat the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat until the butter is bubbling.
- Add the shrimp in a single layer and cook for approximately 2 minutes per side. Remove the shrimp from the pan once they turn opaque and a soft pink color, then set aside on a plate.
- Reduce heat to medium and add the remaining 3 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, stir in the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the lemon juice and fresh parsley, then return the shrimp to the pan for 30 seconds to glaze them in the sauce.
