Frequently Asked Questions

Before sending an email, check if your question is answered below—it's the fastest way to get help!

Q: Can I substitute ingredients in your recipes?

A: Yes, but with caution! Cooking (and especially baking) is chemistry. Substitutions can change texture and flavor. We try to list common, tested substitutions in the recipe notes. If it's not listed, we haven't tested it and can't guarantee the results.

Q: Can I use your photos or recipes on my own blog?

A: Thanks for asking! You may use one photo if you link back to the original recipe post on Recipes Charm with full credit. You may NOT republish the recipe instructions or ingredients list. Please see our Terms of Use for more details.

Q: Why didn't my recipe turn out like the picture?

A: Don't worry, it happens to the best of us! Many variables affect cooking: oven temperatures vary, humidity affects flour, and ingredient brands differ. We recommend using a kitchen scale for baking for the most accuracy. Double-check your oven temp with an internal thermometer!

Q: Are the nutritional facts accurate?

A: They are estimates calculated by online software based on generic ingredients. The exact nutrition of your dish will vary based on the specific brands you use (e.g., one brand of peanut butter has different sugar content than another). Use them as a guide, not medical advice.

Q: How do I print a recipe?

A: Every recipe post has a convenient "Print Recipe" button located in the recipe card section near the ingredients. This will generate a clean, ad-free version for printing.

Q: Can I submit a recipe to Recipes Charm?

A: Currently, we are not accepting outside recipe submissions, as all our content is developed and tested in-house by our team to ensure consistency. However, we love hearing suggestions for what you'd like to see next!
