Can I substitute ingredients in your recipes?
Often yes, and many recipes include substitution notes. Baking is the exception to watch: swapping flour, fat, sugar or eggs can change texture and rise, so change one thing at a time. If you're unsure, send us the recipe link and your idea.
Are the nutrition numbers exact?
No. Nutrition information is an estimate and shifts with the brands and quantities you use. Treat it as a rough guide, not medical or dietary advice. If you manage a health condition or an allergy, check your own ingredient labels.
My dish didn't turn out like the photo. What went wrong?
Ovens run hot or cold, pan sizes differ and ingredients vary. Check your oven with a separate thermometer, weigh flour for baking when you can, and use a food thermometer to confirm meat, poultry and seafood are cooked through. If it still misbehaves, write to us with the recipe and what you saw.
How do I report a mistake in a recipe?
Send us the recipe link and describe the problem, such as an amount, a temperature or a step that doesn't add up. That is the quickest way to get it looked at.
Can I use your photos or recipe text on my own site?
Please don't republish our recipe text or ingredient lists. If you'd like to feature a recipe, write it in your own words and link back to the original page. For anything beyond that, ask us first and see the Terms of use.
What happens to the details I send?
Contact form messages are used only to reply to you. Comments and ratings you post on recipes include the name and text you submit. Our Privacy Policy explains server logs, visit statistics and cookies in full.
